Describe potential for child interaction: Those who know more about computers can help those who know less. If the center only has one computer the children may have to take turns going on the "trip".

Extended Concepts or Activities: This could be done during a multicultural theme week. In dramatic play you could have traditional costumes from various countries. In creative you could do map crafts, or traditional crafts. During lunch or snack time different recipes can be made and tasted.

Safety: If you have more than one computer it would be advisable to closely monitor the children so that they are staying at the assigned website and not wandering to other inappropriate websites.

Successes: The advantage of making our own website is that it is very user-friendly. There aren't many addresses that need to be accessed, it's all on one page that loads fairly quickly.

Improvements: As we make this page we do not see the need for improvements. Maybe after presenting it we will see things that could have been adjusted.

Evaluation Of Field Trip: We think our field trip is very educational and interesting. It is a useful tool because obviously children can't easily travel to these places to sample cuisine. They may not get the opportunity at home to sample them either.
